Hello Chaffey Members!
At Chaffey FCU, our mission is to light the way for our members to reach their financial goals by providing products and services to achieve financial wellness. While our products and services help members achieve financial wellness, it is our staff who bring that mission to life every day. We have a team of 44 employees that understand the importance of relationships with our members, from conversations in our branches to guidance during life’s major transitions. While many of you know the friendly faces in your local branch, you may not know much about the individuals leading those teams.
This quarter, I would like to introduce you to four leaders on the Chaffey team that help bring our mission to life: our Branch Managers!

Together, our four Branch Managers bring more than 100 years of banking experience; their knowledge and expertise are a great resource for you as you work to reach your financial goals! I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about the team, especially those that are not at your “home” branch.
Over the past few months, Chaffey celebrated our Annual Meeting, supported Make-A-Wish families, educated future generations, and continued protecting members from fraud. These accomplishments are possible because of dedicated employees like Desiree, Paula, Priscilla, Bryana, and the entire Chaffey team. I am continually grateful for the passion our team brings to serving our members and communities. Their commitment is one of the many reasons Chaffey FCU continues to build healthy lives throughout the communities we serve.
As always, thank you for your membership!

Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire
$5,300 to Grant Life Changing Wishes
In April of this year, we started a partnership with Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire to illuminate the lives of families in our community who need a little extra support.
From displaying Make-A-Wish’s Blue Stars in each of our branches, to donating a portion of each purchase made with a Chaffey FCU Visa card and bringing in help from our Donations Team, Chaffey FCU is proud to contribute a total of $5,300 to grant life changing wishes.

High-Yield Savings for Summer Adventures
Earn 5.80% APY* / 5.678 APR* with the Summer Savings Club
The Summer Savings Club offers an easy way to help you consistently build your savings, while rewarding you with a high-yield fixed rate. Whether you are saving toward travel, a family goal, or extra breathing room for next summer break, the Summer Savings Club helps you save with confidence.
*APY: Annual Percentage Yield, APR: Annual Percentage Rate. In the event the account is closed or funds are withdrawn before maturity, dividends that have not been credited are forfeited. APY assumes dividends remain in account until maturity; early withdrawals reduce earnings. Dividends begin to accrue once funds are deposited into account. Dividends paid at the end of each calendar quarter and at account maturity on June 15, 2027. Balance computation method is as described in our Truth in Savings Agreement. Monthly direct deposit or payroll deduction of $50 – $2,000 must be set up for account; money transfer apps (i.e.: Zelle, Venmo) do not count as direct deposit. After 60 days of no deposits, account will be closed, and funds will be transferred to your regular savings account. Account will not be closed if there are no deposits during the summer months, but will be closed if deposits do not start by October 1, 2026. Earnings transferred to chosen savings account at account maturity. Account automatically renews at maturity with the updated rate for the new program year. Limit 1 Summer Savings Club account per Member. Federally insured by the NCUA. Membership requirements apply.

1 Million Imposter Scam Reports with Total Losses of $3.5 Billion
You get a call from the IRS that you are facing penalties for unpaid taxes that need to be paid now. You get a text link about an issue with your delivery, but you don’t remember ordering anything. Caller ID on your phone shows a friend’s number, but they are urgently asking you to send money.

Imposter scams like these are on the rise. The Federal Trade Commission recently named Imposter Scams the most common scam for 2025 – the 9th year in a row it’s received this title. Here’s what you need to be on the lookout for so your funds don’t become apart of the billions lost to imposter fraud each year.
- Stay Skeptical. Imposter Scams work by scaring, pressuring, and rushing their victims.
- End the Conversation. Step away and allow yourself time to think or calm down before reacting.
- Call the official contact number of the organization, company, or institution from their official website to confirm if there is an actual concern or if a scammer contacted you.
- Contact Chaffey FCU and report the attempt. A Chaffey FCU representative can help you determine if any additional precautions should be taken.
Inspiration From Upland Unified School District
It Takes a Village
In May 2026, a story was shared with us from Upland USD. A story of a student’s dedication and perseverance against all obstacles that sparked inspiration across Chaffey FCU and within our community. It brought together staff across the school district, Ford of Upland, and your very own Chaffey FCU team in an effort to make the next steps in this student’s journey easier: a $1,000 Chaffey FCU scholarship for their adventure at Cal State San Bernardino, transportation, and mentorships.
We are appreciative to Upland Unified School District for allowing us to be a small part of this student’s journey.
